Department Moi
The target group for the department is young people in crisis, and who are very vulnerable in the situation they are in. Our task is crisis management and the safeguarding of the child, as well as cooperation with the child protection service and the Bureau of Statistics for further measures. The department works according to a standardized emergency procedure, and currently has 4 places for boys and girls aged 12-18.

A department manager in Stendi must quality-assure that the department follows up on internal and external requirements, and that the department’s practice is in line with legislation, agreements, guidelines and plans. At the same time, we need you to be on the lookout for good solutions, and to be able to show creativity within the given framework.

As head of department with us, you will have personnel responsibility for your employees, in addition to direct and indirect follow-up of the young people. You will be included in an interdisciplinary management forum which consists of managers at various levels in Stendi, who also have other, easily accessible resource persons.
As head of department, it will be important to be present in the department. However, it is possible with some use of a home office for periods. You will also be able to help identify strengths in the teams we have, and develop these further. You will work closely with management during this period, also with regard to training in our systems.

Area of responsibility:
- The head of department is professionally, administratively, financially responsible and has personnel responsibility. Responsibility for professional operations, including professional development, skills development/training for staff.
- Quality assurance of the professional work, ensure good internal control in all operational areas, budget, accounting/finance, HSE.
- Responsibility for maintaining and developing good cooperation with internal and external partners.
All this with support in a team with management colleagues, quality manager, head of institution and deputy.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years’ education from university in health and social sciences.
- Experience from a similar business, preferably in a management role.
- Knowledge of working methodology for the target groups.
- Ability to motivate, lead and develop personnel groups.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Approved police certificate
